Just Love Forest Ashram

Poetry, Georgia, United States

In the Appalachian foothills of Poetry, Georgia, Just Love Forest describes itself as a 716-acre nature sanctuary and community for healing in nature. Its work is inspired by the teachings and devotional path of Neem Karoli Baba and Ram Dass. This is a contemporary, lineage-inspired community, not one of Maharaj-ji's historic Indian ashrams. The forest itself is central to the experience. The community draws on forest bathing, time spent listening and paying attention outdoors, and long-term care for land protected by a conservation easement. Its website shares invitations to retreats and gatherings; check there for current ways to visit.
